Greetings, and welcome to my website. I have recently done a major over-haul on my website, upgrading it from a static HTML site into a dynamic blogging web application by installing and tinkering around with WordPress.
With this upgrade, I’m looking to expand myself from static HTML development into understanding the inner-workings of a dynamic content website.
Throughout this website, you’ll find my personal reviews of technology, local events, Web design, and related projects.Since the late-1990’s, as I was entering my high school in 1998, I started working with HTML and began exploring it’s workings as a programming language and structure. It wasn’t long before I turned my attention to graphic design to bring design elements to life. Soon after, I began self-teaching myself simple JavaScript functions through tutorials I found on various websites.
After graduating Berkmar High School in May of 2002, I attended Georgia Perimeter College, while continuing self-teaching myself minor JavaScript, and Adobe Photoshop as well as Macromedia Dreamweaver.
In late 2003, I transfered from Georgia Perimeter College and began pursuing a diploma in Website Design and Development in Spring of 2004. The program has exposed me to code structuring, programing logic, and allowed me to refresh myself in JavaScript and design. The program also exposed me to learning about Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Pre-Hypertext Processing (PHP), and database connections - focusing on MySQL.
In 2006, I began working within the industry as an intern with a wonderful company focused with Internet marketing, and expanding their work to audio and video podcasting. I learned a wonderful amount of hands-on interaction while still taking classes at Gwinnett Technical College.
I am currently earning my way towards receiving my diploma in Website Design and Development, and I plan on going back for a certificate in Digital Imagery & New Media Design, as well as a certificate in Video Production.
